The Eastside Rooms, located in the heart of Birmingham’s Knowledge Quarter, is a state-of-the-art conference and events venue, perfectly suited to host TubeFest. Known for its modern design and flexible spaces, it can accommodate up to 1,200 attendees.

Please note we are planning a welcome reception on Thursday 25th April 2025, if you’re considering travel dates, we’d recommend planning to head in on the 24th, we are also in discussions regarding workshops on the 24th but unfortunately cannot confirm them yet, we will confirm both before the end of the year.

The Eastside Rooms is located at 2 Woodcock Street, Birmingham, B7 4BL, and is easily accessible by various modes of transport. If arriving by train, it’s a 15-minute walk or short taxi ride from Birmingham New Street Station. From Birmingham Moor Street Station, it’s a 10-minute walk heading northeast toward Millennium Point and the Knowledge Quarter, while Birmingham Snow Hill Station is approximately a 15-minute walk southeast, passing through the Colmore Row area.

For those driving, The Eastside Rooms is accessible from the M6 motorway by exiting at Junction 6 (Aston Expressway) and following signs for the city center, Aston University, or Millennium Point.

Parking is available directly opposite the venue at the Millennium Point Multi-Storey Car Park (B4 7AP).

If traveling by bus, numerous routes stop near the venue with connections to Aston University and Millennium Point. For those arriving by air, Birmingham Airport offers a direct train to Birmingham New Street Station in about 15 minutes, making onward travel quick and straightforward.

The Eastside Rooms is home to some of the largest event spaces in Birmingham.

Located centrally in Birmingham’s up and coming Knowledge Quarter, Eastside Rooms is Birmingham’s newest conference centre.

The Eastside Rooms, built with modern events in mind, the venue hosts events both large and small, as well as everything in between, with effortless ease.

Accessability

Dedicated lifts wide enough for wheelchair users and carers

We welcome assistance dogs (please pre-inform the venue if an assistance dog will be attending)

Induction loop facilities are available at all reception desks, the main Affinity Suite and selected meeting rooms

There are accessible toilets on every floor of the building We are the only venue in Birmingham to host a full changing places facility

All staff have undertaken full disability awareness training

The hotel next door, Aloft Birmingham Eastside, has 10 accessible bedrooms, with one having a full hoist from bed to bathroom

Getting There...

By Car

The Eastside Rooms is centrally located at the heart of Birmingham’s Eastside. With 90% of the UK accessible within a 4-hour drive time. The location is closely linked to the Midlands motorway network with the M6, M42 and M5 all in close proximity, with the M6 J6 just two miles away.

As a sustainable venue we advocate for the use of public transport for travel where possible, therefore we do not have an onsite car park.

The venue does benefit from the Millennium Point Multi-Storey Car Park (B4 7AP) which is located just across the road from The Eastside Rooms.

By Train
With three train stations currently located in the city, the venue is already very accessible via train and the upcoming opening of the Curzon Street Station, for the HS2 line will only increase the accessibility of The Eastside Rooms.

Birmingham New Street Station is located just a 15-minute walk away from the venue and both Moor Street and Snow Hill are just 10-minutes away.

By Plane

The central location of the venue lends itself to be being within a 3 hour journey from the majority of airports in England.

Birmingham – just 30 minutes from Birmingham Airport.

Manchester – 78 miles from Manchester Airport, just a 1 hour 30 minute

Heathrow – 115 miles from Heathrow Airport, just 2 hours in the car

Luton – 89 miles from London Luton Airport, just 1 hour 30 minutes

By Bus

The venue is located on the West Midlands Bus Route 66, with a bus stop located ideally right outside of the venue.
